The Burke House

Located in the warmth of the North Bank Rogue River Road on the river's front and only five miles from the Pacific Beaches. This home caters to those who want to relax and enjoy the river. This is a peaceful place to stay and enjoy the tranquility of being on the water. Perfect for the writer or reader who wants a great place to relax and enjoy themselves. Home is also a fisherman's paradise and will sleep up to 11 people in two queen beds and six twin beds and a roll away. There is full kitchen, a 34" TV with satellite and a local phone if your cell phone doesn't happen to work...(you may choose to turn it off anyway). Located just a short drive from Cedar Bend golf course and Libby pond if you like trout fishing! Home also boasts a hot tub on the deck and the temperature in the summer months is usually ten degrees warmer (F) than the coastal/town locations.

The Burke House was a family home for years.  Mr. Burke used to drive his boat accross the Rogue River to work at the plywood mill.  He had a chance to come home for lunch and after work sometimes the fish were calling and he was late for dinner.  The Rogue River is famous for its healthy salmon and steelhead runs and The Burke House is a great place to take advantage of the fishing seasons.
